How much does it cost to have a website built?
Right now you pay nothing up front: designing and building a new website is free. You only pay €49 a month, excluding VAT, for reliable Dutch web hosting with premium email. Email sent by your website then lands in the inbox and not in spam.
How long does it take before my website is ready?
Allow two to four weeks from your approval of the design. The pace depends mostly on how quickly text and images are supplied. You get a response to your enquiry within 24 hours.
What kind of company is Darvis?
Darvis Websites & Apps is a Dutch web agency that builds custom websites and web applications with Laravel, including hosting and maintenance.
Where is Darvis based?
Darvis is at Het Nieuwe Diep 33 in Den Helder, North Holland, and works for clients across the Netherlands.
Can I manage the website myself afterwards?
Yes. We deliver a custom CMS that lets you change text, images and articles yourself, without technical knowledge. That is additional work, for which we are happy to make you a tailored proposal.
Do you work with WordPress?
No. We build custom software with Laravel, because that means fewer dependencies, fewer vulnerabilities and less maintenance.
Do you also take care of hosting and maintenance?
Yes. With a maintenance contract we handle hosting, SSL, daily backups, updates and monitoring for you.
What kind of businesses do you work for?
Small and medium-sized businesses, from sole traders to companies with around a hundred employees, as well as associations and institutions. Our clients include manufacturers, service providers, leisure businesses and letting agencies.
